Meet the Agora Team

We are a small core team but work with approximately 8-10 part time staff. We also often have 1-2 people at a time doing work experience in the cafe gaining confidence and new skills. If you haven't been to visit for awhile please come and have a coffee and say hi. We would love to serve you with our friendly, welcoming approach to hospitality.

Jayde Murray -Cafe & FoH Manager

Jayde is spirited and full of life. She is passionate about all the details that will make your experience at Agora a highlight of your day. As she leads our cafe team she is sure to brighten your day and make you smile. If you are brave enough you can ask her to show you one of her tattoos and why she loves working at Agora!

Nastasia Kelsen -Events & Marketing Manager

Nastasia has a gift for style and organising. She knows how to help you have an amazing event here at Agora and all the things you'll need to keep everyone more than happy. Most days she will make a trip to the gym and follow that up with another coconut flatwhite.

Hamish Christensen -Head Chef / Kitchen Manager

Hamish is as cool as you like under pressure. From the largest of buffet dinners to catering for a crowd or 5kg of Agora's famous fried Chicken on Mondays he can do it all. His food often has an Asian twist to it after years of growing up in China but he's as kiwi as it comes. Hamish keeps the team smiling as the in house cafe clown.
